Weekly Update from our Principal – May 5, 2020

As we continue to move forward in the remote learning environment. I welcome any feedback you may have.  Thank you for your positive feedback to date and your continued support.  Please do not hesitate to send me feedback through email, djones@sd40.bc.ca.

As well, if you require any support from the school we are here to help.  Contact me directly if you need to pick up essential items or if you need food support.

All year we have been participating in the BCSFVNP, which is BC agriculture in the classroom nutrition program.  We have a delivery coming on May 13th, 2020.  We are receiving cucumbers.  If you are interested in having cucumbers (we will have a lot) let me know.  We can arrange pick up or delivery.  Please see link below for more great resources from BCSFVNP.

Take care and be safe,

Debbie Jones

Articulation

We are getting ready for the next school year. Staff will be meeting to discuss placements for next year for students entering Fraser River in the fall.  As well, we will be creating a video tour for our feeder schools so the students can see the wonderful building they will be learning in next year.

The high school is also going through articulation with our grade 8 students moving to grade 9.

Please visit our website bcaitc.ca for lots of great resources, activities, games, recipes and educational literature.  We have been working hard updating our social media with lots of contests and great information. Check us out! https://www.bcaitc.ca/homepage
